With Where Is Ava?, director Romed Wyder and Ulrich Fischer (Memoways) explore a new extension of cinematic storytelling. After each screening, audiences can continue the experience by talking with the film’s characters through AI. A case study on the new narrative possibilities opened by artificial conversation.

Founder of Memoways, he continues his work on responsive storytelling with conversational cinema experience Where is Ava? and Gamilab, dedicated to voice-first and interactive formats.

Romed Wyder is an award-winning director, producer and screenwriter. His latest feature, Où est Ava ?, premiered at the Zurich Film Festival and will be released in 2027. Co-founder of Cinéma Spoutnik and Laïka Films, he launched Paradigma Films in 2003. He currently serves on the boards of Swiss Films and the Swiss Film Academy.
