FOUNDATION BOARD

The GIFF Foundation aims to promote film, television and digital creation in Switzerland. To this end, it organizes the Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF) and the GIFF PRO, both during the first two weeks of November, as well as the GIFF Unlimited.

The 2026 program is the result of the work of Anaïs Emery, General and Artistic Director until the end of June 2026, and the Festival’s programming teams, who together carried the programme forward while maintaining its editorial coherence and artistic standards throughout.

Emilie Bujès, the new Artistic Director, and Audrey Olivier Muralt, Director of operations, took up their roles as co-directors in August 2026. They are accompanying this transitional edition between the two artistic directions, ahead of the GIFF’s move to the Plaza Centre Cinéma in 2027, which will mark the first edition under the new artistic direction.
