With Sunset Motel, Thomas Ott’s graphic universe becomes a space to inhabit. Held at Compagnie Gilles Jobin’s Studio 44 MocapLab, this special presentation explores its VR production, from translating its black-and-white aesthetic to motion capture, performance and staging.

Gilles Jobin is a Swiss contemporary dance choreographer an XR director based in Geneva. Since 1995 with his company, he has created choreographic projects which have become references on the world stage. Since 2016, he embarked in the exploration of the new digital territories for dance, he is recognized as a leading creative force in the XR world. In 2015, he received the Swiss Grand Award for Dance.
Susana Panadés Diaz

Susana Panadés Diaz trained in classical and contemporary dance at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. Since 2005, she has been a performer with Cie Gilles Jobin. With the company’s shift toward digital work, her role expanded as both performer and artistic collaborator. She specialized in motion capture from the dancer’s perspective, leading the development of Studio 44 MocapLab.
Tristan Siodlak
Lead 3D Artist, VR Lead, Developer, 3D Characters, Environments and Lighting, CH

Tristan Siodlak is an artist whose work explores the intersection of art, technology and storytelling. Trained in Computer Graphics and 3D Animation, he creates visual worlds that move across animation, video games, immersive experiences, installations, and live performances, translated between screens, projections, XR, VR, and physical spaces. Since 2016, Tristan has collaborated closely with Cie Gilles Jobin as lead 3D artist.
