In the quiet, strange world of the English countryside in the 1970s, life at a peaceful trailer park is turned upside down by the arrival of Lela and her daughter Bee, who are seeking refuge. A new series for the BBC with an all-star cast.

Hugo Blick’s new series (Marion & Geoff, The Honorable Woman, The English) brings together a five-star cast to paint a strange and touching portrait of an unconventional family. Lela (Erin Doherty), on the run with her 11-year-old daughter Bee, decides to join her parents Eddie (Helena Bonham Carter) and Jerry (Bill Nighy) in their secluded life. But their unexpected arrival brings to the surface both the strength and tenderness of their bonds and triggers revelations that are, to say the least, unexpected… A touching series, peppered with irresistible British humor and meticulously crafted—a must-see!
