The wild and frantic escape of Lee, an amnesiac police officer who, after being assigned a mission of the utmost importance, forgets why he’s in the midst of a group of fearsome criminals...
Still traumatized by a case that went wrong, Lee, a veteran police officer in Taipei, now secretly suffers from memory loss. After being transferred to a modest police station, he is tasked with solving the kidnapping of a Japanese businessman’s child. With his memory playing tricks on him just as much as fate, Lee unwittingly finds himself caught up in a tangled web between criminals and law enforcement. In the tradition of Japanese director Sabu’s previous works, Arrested Memory is a ballet of frenzied action sequences, coupled with an absolutely exhilarating, blood-soaked comedy. With its sharp sense of rhythm and brutal choreography, this joyful chaos brings the 2026 edition of GIFF to a spectacular conclusion!
