A delivery driver plunges into the depths of a consumer society that has become an insatiable machine. A strange and hypnotic journey into virtual reality, exploring desire, eroticism, birth, and death.
A delivery driver traverses indescribable worlds, drawn ever deeper into the bowels of our consumer society. Along the way, eroticism, death, religion, and birth are transformed into mechanical rituals—cogs in a vast, eternal, and insatiable machine. Created by the Dutch-Belgian duo Nemo Vos—composed of Tibor de Jong and Doris Konings—Honeyboys unfolds a universe that is as hypnotic as it is unsettling. An experimental virtual reality film that poetically and strangely examines the mechanisms of our desires and our consumption.
