LE FIL DE SOIE is a sensitive, dreamlike VR story told through four voices. In a remote silk-farming hamlet, become Mira, searching for meaning; her mother Séléné, an exhausted artisan; Gigi, an eccentric elderly activist; or Yorko, a nomadic seasonal worker. By forging connections and rewinding the story, you mend what is about to break.
In search of
The project is seeking European and international co-production partners, alongside artistic and technical collaborators to support its development. We also aim to connect with distributors, presenting venues and festival programmers to build its future exhibition and circulation strategy.

Jérôme Blanquet
After completing his studies in film and art history, and drawing particular inspiration from technology and the limitations of these ever-evolving tools, Jérôme Blanquet has directed several experimental and sensory films. A co-founder of Démolécularisation and LabaLaba, a board member of ElixR, and a mentor in digital creation, he enjoys exploring new cinematic territories in search of unexpected gaps.
Marie-Eve Hildbrand
Born in 1978, Marie-Eve Hildbrand graduated from ECAL in 2004. A member of the Terrain Vague collective, she contributed to projects including L’Escale by K. Bakhtiari and Ma Vie de Courgette by C. Barras, for which she received a Special Prize from the Académie du Cinéma-CH. She also directed Les Guérisseurs, launched VDR in 2021 and created the hybrid project Hitl.2 with Jérôme Blanquet in 2025.
