With the help of his partner, Gil learns to control his dreams. Amid flights of imagination, shifting worlds, and a chosen family, Lúcido explores the fragile boundaries between lucidity, escape, and grief.
After a nightmare, Gil discovers that he can learn to control his dreams with the help of his partner. As he becomes a lucid dreamer, he uncovers extraordinary powers: he can fly, transform the sky, and shape impossible landscapes. But some dreams are harder to leave behind than others. Blending fragments of everyday life with shifting dream worlds, Lúcido explores grief, escape, and chosen family through a narrative structure where our freedom of action mirrors that of the character. Directed by Portuguese artist Vier, the film had its world premiere at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
