When her husband thought she had disappeared under tragic circumstances, an MIT astrophysicist suddenly reappeared at their home. But she seems quite changed…

Having come to spend a year in Hungary at the family home of her husband, Sam, Margot struggles to put aside the research on Mars that she has just resumed. Two months later, after her inexplicable disappearance, Sam finds her, but she is suffering from amnesia and is unrecognizable. What happened to her, and where was she? A dreamlike atmosphere and enigmatic characters are at the heart of this first foray into English-language cinema by Hungarian director Lili Horvát, who loses none of her distinctive style. Through sublimely shot imagery and carried by a magnetic Mackenzie Davis, the director paints a metaphorical and ambiguous portrait of a couple in crisis as they reconnect with one another.
