Ursula is an animated VR documentary exploring the lived experience of endometriosis through embodied storytelling. Guided by real testimonies, you move through a symbolic world inspired by this invisible chronic disease filled with interconnected organ shrines, exploring at your own pace as the environment responds to the stories you hear.
In search of
Moving from R&D and prototyping towards production, the project is seeking European co-producers to strengthen its financing, alongside haptics and research partners. We also aim to connect with impact, distribution and touring partners to reach healthcare, educational and cultural audiences.

Comfort Arthur is a British-born Ghanaian award-winning filmmaker, illustrator and visual artist. She trained at the Royal College of Art. She is the first Ghanaian filmmaker to win an African Movie Academy Award for Best Animation for her web series I’m Living in Ghana, Get Me Out of Here. Comfort has also worked as an episodic director on the CBeebies animated preschool series JoJo & Gran Gran in the UK.
